Hervey Bay Kids is an independent directory for local families and visitors looking for activities, classes, clubs, programs and places to go with children. Its confirmed coverage is urban Hervey Bay plus Dundowran, Craignish, Nikenbah and Booral.

How listings are checked

Provider details come from the provider’s current website or social page, Fraser Coast Regional Council, or another official source. Details that change carry a “checked” date. If a claim cannot be verified, it is left out.

Schools come from school-owned or Queensland Government sources, including EdMap for state-school catchments. Childcare facts and National Quality Standard ratings come from the official ACECQA or Starting Blocks register and provider-owned sources. The directory links out for changing facts such as vacancies and enrolment availability.

Editorial policy: what you will not find here

We do not invent visits, reviews, testimonials or first-hand family experiences. We do not rank schools or childcare services and do not comment on their quality, results or individual staff. We do not make safety claims beyond what an official source states. Parents and carers should confirm current availability, suitability, supervision requirements and costs directly with a provider.

Standard factual inclusion and corrections are free. Any future sponsor, enhanced listing or paid event promotion will be labelled. Payment can change placement or presentation; it cannot buy a review, a recommendation, an unsupported claim or removal of a competing provider.

Photography

The launch library contains licensed images of venues, equipment, coast and landscapes. It does not use identifiable-child imagery. Each photograph has a public licence and creator record, including an honest location label when the image is a Queensland-coastal alternative rather than a specific Hervey Bay place.
